| - Russell Garcia, born 12 April 1916, Oakland, California, died 19 November 2011, was a conductor, arranger and composer who has written a wide variety of music for stage and screen.He was the composer/arranger at NBC Studios (for such shows as %22Rawhide%22 and %22Laredo%22), MGM films, %22The Time Machine%22 (1960 film) and %22Atlantis, the Lost Continent%22, as well as orchestrated themes for %22Father Goose%22 and %22The Benny Goodman Story%22. He collaborated with numerous artists, including Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Oscar Peterson, Stan Kenton, Judy Garland, Henry Mancini and Charlie Chaplin doing arrangements and conducting orchestras.
